Angel Abroguena
Angel’s passion for massage therapy began to truly grow when she started noticing the positive outcomes in patients during her time at the student clinic. As she gained more hands-on experience and applied the techniques she had learned, she saw firsthand how much of a difference it made in her patients’ well-being. Whether it was reducing their pain, improving mobility, or simply hearing their expressions of gratitude, it became clear to her how rewarding this field could be. Those experiences led to a deeper commitment to her journey in massage therapy, motivating her to keep learning and helping others through this healing practice.
Educational Background - Angel recently graduated from VCMT in December 2024. During her time here, she’s had the opportunity to learn more than she could have ever thought you would learn about massage therapy.
Areas of Practice - As a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), Angel provides massage therapy treatments that address a range of musculoskeletal conditions and promote overall well-being. She utilizes a variety of techniques, including trigger point release, myofascial release, and Swedish massage, to effectively reduce muscle tension, improve mobility, and alleviate stress-related symptoms. Each session is tailored to the individual needs and goals of the patient, with a focus on restoring functional movement and supporting the body’s natural healing processes in a safe and professional environment. Whether you’re seeking relief from stress, muscle tightness, or simply need a moment of calm, Angel is dedicated to fostering a healing space that encourages relaxation to allow you to reconnect with your mind and body.
Personal History - Initially, Angel is from the Philippines and moved to Canada in 2010 and has been here since. She possesses a moderate comprehension of Tagalog and a basic proficiency in speaking the language. Besides massage, she has taken an interest in baking! Her favourite sweet treats to bake right now are cheesecake and crinkles. She also enjoys watching movies and shows, hanging out with friends and spending time with her loved ones ❤️ Unfortunately at this time Angel is NOT accepting ICBC patients. Thank you.
